Reusable Green Box Program:

What is the Reusable Green Box Program? 

The Reusable Green Box Program is a sustainable to-go meal option for Meal Plan holders at The Servery at the Dining Commons. It allows you to use a Meal Swipe to take your meal with you instead of dining in.

 

How does the Reusable Green Box Program work? 

  1. Swipe into The Servery at the Dining Commons and request your first to-go box. 

  1. The cashier team will provide you with a sanitized Reusable Green Box. 

  1. After receiving a sanitized Reusable Green Box, you have approximately 15 minutes to fill your container. Once you have selected the meal of your choice you may exit the building with your to-go meal.  

  1. Return your empty to-go box to the cashier on your next visit, request a new box or a Carabiner to be saved and used for your next participation in the Reusable Green Box Program. 

 

Can I take beverages out of the Dining Commons? 

Yes. Meal Plan holders are eligible to receive ONE complimentary Tote Bag and ONE complimentary Reusable Tumbler. The Reusable Tumbler is the only approved vessel for transporting beverages out of The Servery. Unlike the Green Box, you are responsible for washing your tumbler—Hornet Hospitality does not collect or sanitize them. Only ONE of each item will be issued per person. 

 

Can I take dishes out of the Dining Commons and return them later?

No. Plates, cups, bowls, and utensils from the Dining Commons cannot be taken out. Please help us preserve our resources by keeping all dishware within the Dining Commons.  

 

Can I dine in and also use a Green Box in the same visit? 

Yes, but you’ll need to use two Meal Swipes—one for dining in and one for the to-go Green Box.  

 

What if I lose or damage my Reusable Green Box or Carabiner?

You may purchase a second Reusable Green Box or Carabiner at the cashier 
station at The Servery at the Dining Commons for $10.00 in cash, credit, or Flex$. 
Damage includes the presence of mold, cracks, breakage, etc. 

 

Are there any limitations to what I can select in the Reusable Green Box Program? 


You may select items from as many stations as you like. For safety purposes, your 
Reusable Green Box must be able to close fully before you are permitted to exit the building.  

 

How do I keep my to-go meal fresh and safe to eat? 

Once you leave The Servery with your meal, it's your responsibility to handle it safely. To keep your food fresh and safe: 

  1. Keep cold foods below 40°F 

  1. Reheat hot foods to over 165°F 

  1. Discard perishable items that have been left at room temperature for more than 4 hours 

Hornet Hospitality is not responsible for food safety after meals leave the dining facility.

Promotions are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash, gift cards, credit, or toward previous purchases.  Other exclusions may apply.  Void where prohibited.  Additional restrictions may apply.  Aramark reserves the right to cancel or modify any promotion or offer at any time.  Refer to each Promotion’s respective materials for additional details, instructions, and requirements.
